What is people's fascination with Miley Cyrus?
08.07.08 (2:00 pm)   [edit]

Yes, you may not be, but a quick session of research from Facebook shows that ...people... are. And not just kiddies too, these people are a couple years older than Miley's general audience. And it's not just Miley, it's these newfangled Disney "musicians"... I'll leave it at that.

Don't get me wrong, Miley has some good songs, but recently her songs (and the Jonas Brothers too, but this is about her) have not been adding anything special to the world of music. Of course she's what, 15, 16? Her songs basically reflect ideas that have been said and sung a million times before. You loved him, he left you, world is too chaotic, blah, blah, blah! I suppose you can't blame her, because I think she's singing about what she's really feeling or thinking, but if that's the case, then what a simple mind and imagination she has.

It may be her young age that's preventing her from having originality, but then again, what originality is there in a world where everything has been repeated a million times over? Like this Blog, many other people have probably said and/or thought about this.

You know if Miley sang a song about puppies or clouds, I'd actually give her more points for originality. Tongue out

Once again, this is my own opinion, doesn't necessarily reflect the opinions of Facebook or Tblog.
