It's the new Burnout Paradise free update to keep us fans from getting bored, and good god, did Criterion ever deliver.

If you've been keeping up with my blog the last few months, you know how hyped I was for the bikes pack. While this particular update doesn't break any new ground like the bikes pack, it's full of necessary fixes, and even a complete revamping of the Burnout cars system. Every car runs differently now!They also added a restart option, something they know the fans have been asking politely (bitching, I mean) for since they shipped the game in January '08.

It's weird, they're making this game so easy! But weird isn't bad. In this case, it's awesome! This update is sure to attract a wider audience, probably those that were hesitant to go out and buy Paradise the first few months of release. They made barrel rolls easier to land, but that's probably for the newbs...
Apparently, one of Criterion Games' new catchphrases is.. 'Burnout Paradise, easy to play, but hard to master!'
